Making Magical Days Out more accessible just got even easier, thanks to the initiative of Hannah, our Applications Administrator, who took the lead in curating and implementing pre-visit social guides!

Designed specifically for beneficiaries—especially children with autism, sensory sensitivities, or additional needs—our pre-visit social stories are engaging visual guides that help families prepare for their adventure. These guides ease anxiety, build excitement, and create a sense of familiarity before the big day, ensuring every child feels comfortable and confident when they arrive.

Each social story provides a detailed look at what to expect, from sensory elements like lights, sounds, and crowds to ride descriptions, including intensity and duration. They also highlight quiet spaces and break areas where children can take a moment to relax if needed. Some even introduce key staff members, explaining their roles and how they can help, making sure families feel supported every step of the way.
